1. Overview

Brulka provides planning tools for independent professionals and organizations. Depending on how you use Planner, Brulka may act as the controller of your account and service data, while a business using Planner may control the client information it enters or receives through its booking page. If you are a client of a business that uses Planner, that business may be the best first contact for questions about your appointment information.

This policy applies to Brulka Planner and related Brulka services. It does not cover the privacy practices of businesses that use Planner or third-party sites linked from our services.

2. Information we collect

Information you provide

  • Account and profile information: email address, password, name, contact details, profile image, language, and account preferences.
  • Business and organization information: business details, branches, professionals, roles, permissions, services, schedules, availability, and public booking profile content.
  • Planner content: appointments, booking requests, client records, notes, prices, income and expense records, and other information you choose to save.
  • Photos and location: photos you select for a public booking profile and, with permission, foreground device location used to show a map, find nearby information, or set a booking location.
  • Support communications: messages and account details you send when asking us for help.

Information collected automatically

  • Device and app information: device type, operating system, app version, language, network information, identifiers, and push-notification token.
  • Usage and analytics information: screens viewed, feature interactions, searches, appointment and transaction events, and general usage patterns. Event data may include record identifiers and attributes such as duration, category, or value.
  • Diagnostics: crash reports, error messages, logs, and technical context used to investigate reliability and security issues.
  • Local app data: authentication tokens are stored using secure device storage; preferences and other non-sensitive app state may be stored in standard local storage.

Information about other people

Professionals and organizations may add information about clients, team members, and other contacts. Only provide information you are authorized to use and share. Clients may also provide their details directly when requesting an appointment through an online booking page.

3. How we use information

We use personal information to:

  • create and secure accounts, authenticate users, and provide customer support;
  • run calendars, client records, services, notes, finances, analytics, and online booking;
  • coordinate organization workspaces, branches, professionals, roles, and permissions;
  • send service messages and, with device permission, push notifications;
  • show maps, resolve booking locations, and display public booking profile content;
  • measure feature use, diagnose crashes, maintain security, and improve Planner;
  • comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

Where applicable, we process information to perform our contract with you, pursue legitimate interests such as operating and improving Planner, comply with law, or based on your consent. You may withdraw consent at any time, without affecting earlier processing.

4. How information is shared

We may share information in these circumstances:

  • Within your workspace: information is available to organization owners, administrators, and authorized team members according to configured roles and permissions.
  • On public booking pages: business details, services, professionals, availability, location, and selected photos may be visible publicly when you publish them.
  • Service providers: we use providers that help host and operate Planner, deliver notifications, display maps, analyze app use, provide configuration, and diagnose crashes. The app currently integrates services from Google/Firebase, Google Maps, and Expo.
  • Legal and safety reasons: we may disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect rights and safety, investigate abuse, or defend legal claims.
  • Business changes: information may be transferred as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate safeguards.

We do not sell personal information for money.

5. Your choices and rights

  • Update account, profile, business, client, booking, and workspace information in Planner where the relevant controls are available.
  • Control location, photo-library, notification, and tracking permissions in your device settings. Planner disables Firebase analytics collection when iOS tracking permission is denied; essential service and diagnostic processing may still occur.
  • Ask us to access, correct, export, restrict, object to, or delete your personal information, subject to applicable law and necessary identity verification.
  • If an organization controls your client record, contact that organization first. We will assist it with valid requests where required.

To make a privacy request, email support@brulka.com from the address associated with your account and describe your request. You may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.

6. Retention, security, and international processing

We retain information for as long as needed to provide Planner, maintain legitimate business and security records, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. Retention depends on the type of information and why it is processed. After a valid deletion request, we delete or de-identify information unless we must keep it, and residual copies may remain temporarily in backups.

We use technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information, including secure device storage for authentication tokens and access controls for organization data. No storage or transmission method is completely secure.

Brulka and its service providers may process information in countries other than your own. We use safeguards required by applicable law when personal information is transferred internationally.

7. Children

Planner is a business tool and is not directed to children under 13, or a higher minimum age where local law requires it. We do not knowingly collect a child’s personal information without appropriate authorization. Contact us if you believe a child provided information improperly.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as Planner or legal requirements change. We will post the updated version here and revise the effective date. We will provide additional notice when a change is material and applicable law requires it.
